Fares

Adult One-way: 880 yen, Child One-way: 440 yen

IC cards (PASMO, Suica etc.) can also be used: however, privilege service for bus use (named Bus Toku) cannot be used.
Child fares apply to infants and preschool children if they use seats alone.

Basic information

Approximately 90 minutes

  • Two roundtrip services per day only for Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays
  • Large items (such as bicycle) or pet animals (including those in dedicated pet cases) are not allowed to be brought on the bus.
  • Please note that there may be some delay in arrival due to road conditions.
  • Reservations cannot be accepted. This service is available on a first-come, first served basis and you cannot board the bus when all seats are taken.
  • Each bus can accommodate only one wheelchair user.
  • The Tokyo Silver Pass cannot be used.

Those using the service for the first time

Before boarding Please have small change, your ticket, or IC card ready in advance. Fare machines on each bus accept 1,000-yen, 5,000-yen and 10,000-yen notes.
When boarding the bus For Express Bus Service, passengers board the bus through the front door and exit through the middle door. Please board the bus through the front door. Those in wheelchairs and with strollers can also board the bus through the middle door. If you wish to use the middle door, ask the driver. Babies in strollers are not allowed on the bus. Fold strollers before entering the bus. Pay all fares in advance. Pay the fare when you board the bus. Moreover, if children and those eligible for discounted fares take the bus, let the driver know before paying the fare. Touch your IC card to the card reader on top of the fare machine. Be careful not to let IC cards that are not used for paying the fare get close to the card reader. Otherwise, the fare may be deducted from such cards. If the fare is deducted by mistake, let the driver know immediately. After boarding the bus, take any available seat and wear a seatbelt.
When getting off the bus Push the button promptly after the bus departs the stop before the stop you wish to get off. For Express Bus Service, passengers exit through the middle door.
Get on and off the bus promptly. We ask for your kind cooperation. Please remain seated until the bus has come to a complete stop in order to ensure the safety of all passengers.

Requests of passengers

  • The use of mobile phones on the bus may cause problems for other passengers. Please set your mobile phone to silent mode and refrain from talking on the phone.
  • Express buses travel on an expressway. Be sure to wear a seatbelt while seated on the bus. Remain seated while the bus is in motion. For children's safety, fold strollers on the bus.
  • Smoking is prohibited on the bus.
  • Large luggage (such as bicycle) is not allowed on the bus.
  • Pet animals (including those in dedicated pet cases) are not allowed on the bus.

Items left in the bus

  • The bus company will handle any of your possessions accidentally left behind. Companies operating the bus service shall not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I make a reservation?
The bus service between Kichijoji and Odaiba is available on a first come, first served basis. Come directly to the bus stop. Please note that you cannot board the bus when all seats are taken.
Can I use notes for paying the bus fare?
The fare machine accepts 10,000-yen, 5,000-yen, and 1,000-yen notes; however, as limited change is available, please prepare a 1,000-yen note, change, or IC Card (such as PASMO and Suica).
What should I do if there is an insufficient balance on my IC card?
You can top up your IC Card at the bus fare machine in increments of 1,000 yen (1,000-yen note can be used). Refer to the IC Card Page for further details.
Can I board the bus while I am in wheelchair?
  • Please note that each bus can accommodate only one wheelchair user; therefore, you might not be able to board the bus if another passenger in a wheelchair is already on the bus.
Can I board the bus with my pet?
Pet animals (including those in dedicated pet cases) are not allowed on the bus. We ask for your kind understanding.
